As the daughter and wife of a farmer, I value the products of the land.  One of these, my low sugar frozen fruit spread, Jem, was an obsession for my five sons.  Towards the end of many years in the medical field, two things occurred:

1. I began to see more obesity and diabetes and their negative consequences.
2. I became ready for a personal change in the workplace.

That's when it happened... My employer fired me and Jemfruit LLC was born.  When the public was slow to appreciate my fruit spread, I kept the name and began selling my nuts.

My creativity extends to sewing and I was challenged to create "an adult bib that does not look like a bib."  My Dirt Shirt™ is a "Commuter Cover" for those who need to "eat and run"!  The Dirt Shirt™ is the ultimate adult bib as it looks like the shirt that inspired it.
